Bock Kunststofftechnik engineering - a pioneer in plastics processing - injection moulding

As can be seen from the company's history, it was not possible to purchase injection moulding equipment in 1946 after the Second World War. For this reason, Dipl. Ing. Karl Bock, a mechanical engineer by trade, constructed his own injection moulding machines after the war. At the same time BASF in Ludwigshafen resumed with the production of polystyrene and it was Karl Bock's ambition to be among the first to injection mould thermoplastics.

With 4 self-designed and constructed injection moulding machines he supplied the Black Forest industries with technical plastic components from 1947 onwards. In a short space of time he became the prime supplier of several renown watch and clock manufacturers, musical instrument manufacturers as well as the electro-technical industry. Starting in 1947, thermoplastic injection moulded components made by Bock conquered the world, be it housings for alarm clocks, keyboards and bass knobs, rear lights for motorcycles and many other items.

Since this time it has been the permanent ambition of the Bock company to remain at the front of plastics processing in the segment of thermoplastic injection moulded components and tool design.

Thus, Bock Kunststofftechnik engineering counts numerous renown companies among their satisified customers, from the automotive industry, electro-technical industry, fine-mechanical industry, sanitary industry,  machine building and others.
All these demanding customers value the injection moulded components made by Karl Bock GmbH & Co. KG.

With 45 of the most modern injection moulding machines, equipped with robots, handling equipment and automated environments, the Bock plastics engineering company runs in three shifts for their demanding customers.
The know-how accumulated over years, especially in the fields of high performance materials such as filled and reinforced polyacetals (POM), polyamides (OA), polycarbonate (PC), the thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), liquid crystal polymers (LCP) and others, has made us a competent partner, from the development of technical plastic components through to refined plastic components, assemblies or complete equipment. Here you will find technical injection moulded components such as: parts for pumps, for emission control, air mass sensors, plastic components for fuel and electric systems, injection moulded parts for switch and control technology, panels and scales, bobbin coil formers, switch components, counters and parts for relays and much more. In consumer plastics, which include the thermoplastics: polystyrene (PS), styrene-butadiene (SB), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN), acrylonitrile/styrene/acrylic ester (ASA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) as well as the family of polyolefines such as polythylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and others, we produce high quality plastic components and assemblies such as housings, covers, panels, hoods, caps, packaging, stoppers, screws and much more.

The Bock Kunststofftechnik engineering company manufactures single component injection moulded parts and multi-component injection moulded parts. The company manufactures injection moulded components with inlaid metal parts, compound parts using insert or outsert technology. Here, standard injection moulding machines, turn-plate injection moulding machines and fully automated injection moulding machines are used as required.
